Dr Ali Jamous

THE ROYAL BUCKINGHAMSHIRE HOSPITAL

Dr Ali Jamous, Consultant in Spinal Cord Injuries, is the Medical Director of the Affinity Care group that includes the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital and Kings Lodge Centre for Complex Care.

He retired from the NHS in March 2014 and joined the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital as a Medical Director in November 2014 where he continues to practice overseeing the management and rehabilitation of patients with Spinal Cord injury. He is still active in the field of research and has had few publications over the years. He presented at the European Neuro-Convention last year on the Management of Spasticity after Spinal Cord Injury.

He is the president of British Association of Spinal Cord injury Specialists (BASCIS) in the UK and the Treasurer of the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCOS).
