Making Brain Injury Visible

Brain Injury is the leading cause of death and disability worldwide and leads to over 350,000 hospital admissions in the UK each year. Awareness of brain injury is very low amongst those unaffected and access to services is patchy.
Specialist Rehabilitation makes a huge difference to long term recovery and there is a strong evidence base to support its financial efficacy.
UKABIF is a small charity, which strongly believes in collaboration. We are working with other organisations to raise awareness of this field amongst parliamentarians, funding authorities, NHSE and the general public.
